Saxophonist Ian Hendrickson-Smith (Uncle Cheef) brings a powerhouse band of NYC’s top shelf musicians to entertain you with high energy, fun and exciting soul jazz that will simultaneously make you wanna wiggle and challenge your intellect. Ian is a six time grammy award winner and currently plays saxophone on the Tonight Show with the Roots. He’s recorded/toured with: Amy Winehouse, Al Green, Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings, Dr Lonnie Smith, Lady Gaga, Mark Ronson, and many more. This will be a night with an emphasis on the BLUES. Some classics, some originals… but all with that feeling.
